Classic lighting follows the castle’s rooms, ice columns and spires in cool white light. This is an original version photograph; viewpoints vary between the lighting versions.

Winter reaches sky.An ice palace glows.

A narrow spire rises above translucent walls, a curved balcony and the grand entrance to Elsa’s palace. LEGO® The Ice Castle 43197 brings the wintry world of Disney’s Frozen into your Christmas display, with small rooms and icy details to discover beneath its tall silhouette. Game of Bricks Lights bring a cool glow to the palace and its icy details.

Choose Classic for cool white architectural and room lighting. Remote and Remote + Sound add exterior colour illumination and separate spotlights, with effects and a controller. Remote + Sound also adds sound. Explore the original version photographs below; the Inside view is shown in Classic.

Light Through the Ice

Cool white light catches the translucent blue panels and tall white walls, drawing the eye up through Elsa's layered ice palace.

The Ice Balcony

A cool glow beneath the curved balcony reveals its patterned rail and the angular blue walls rising around this little platform.

Inside the Ice Palace

White light reveals the printed map and small furnishings behind the ice-blue walls, giving this quiet room its own winter glow.

A Spotlight on the Castle

An external spotlight sends colour across the castle from beside its snowy base, adding another evening view of the icy facade.

Palace at home.Ice catches the light.

Place the castle among your festive decorations and see its cool white glow against the warmth of a Christmas evening. Switch the kit on and off to explore the change. Classic lighting is shown here; the Remote spotlights and extra colour lighting are not pictured.

Elsa’s Palace, from Entrance to Throne Room

LEGO® The Ice Castle 43197 recreates the palace from Disney’s Frozen with a grand entrance, translucent balcony and three floors of rooms. Inside are a curved double staircase, a throne room and an ice fountain. Smaller details, including a miniature Arendelle castle and a ship in a bottle, reward a closer look at the original LEGO model.

Choose the Castle’s Evening Atmosphere

Classic lights the rooms, architectural panels, columns and spires. Remote and Remote + Sound share additional exterior colour lighting and separate spotlights, with lighting effects and a controller. Remote + Sound adds a soundbox. Compare the original exterior photographs in the first section; the available open-interior photograph is explicitly shown as Classic.

A Winter Palace among the Christmas Lights

Make room for the castle’s tall silhouette in your winter display, then follow the online PDF for your version. The guide separates the Classic connection from the additional installation for Remote and Remote + Sound. This product is a light kit; the LEGO® The Ice Castle 43197 set and its characters are not included.
