Stories begin.
With light.
Before the familiar characters filled the screen, there was a camera and a story waiting to be told. LEGO® Walt Disney Tribute Camera 43230 celebrates that creative world with a vintage movie camera, a film strip and a small cast beside the clapperboard.
Game of Bricks Lights frame the reels in warm points of light and give the lenses a bright white glow. The character display gets its own pool of warmth, turning the separate pieces into a little studio scene after dark.
Around the reels
Warm lights circle the twin reels and trace their round shapes above the camera.
Through the lens
Bright white lenses stand out beside the camera's warm lamps.
A little studio.
After the show.
The camera has a different presence when its reels and lenses glow. Switch between lights off and on to see the whole display settle into its evening setting.

The LEGO® build
LEGO® Walt Disney Tribute Camera 43230 brings several parts of filmmaking into one display. The vintage-style camera has a turning crank, movable lenses and a hinged back, accompanied by a film strip with twenty stills, a clapperboard and a multiplane camera. Three printed screens refer to The Old Mill, while Walt Disney, Mickey, Minnie, Bambi and Dumbo connect the equipment to the characters and stories it celebrates. Across its 811 pieces, the set moves between a camera you can examine and a small tribute to animation. The different elements give the display interest beyond a single front view.
The light kit
Lighting helps separate the camera's dark body from the smaller scenes around it. The illuminated details invite a closer look at the film display and the figures, giving the tribute a more intimate evening setting. The original camera mechanisms remain features of the LEGO model. Classic and Sound share the same light count. Sound adds a Disney-themed soundbox. Both versions include a battery box, Game of Bricks packaging and online PDF installation instructions. The LEGO® model is sold separately.
A JOURNEY THROUGH CELLULOID MAGIC
